Biography
Dionysios Mintziras was born in Athens in 1974, where he grew up.
He graduated from high school with honors and was admitted through the national university entrance exams to the Medical School of the University of Athens, from which he graduated in 1998 with a grade of “Very Good.”
From 1998 to 2000, he served as a rural doctor in Psari, Messinia.
From 2000 to 2002, he completed his military service.
In 2002, he began his residency at the 251st General Air Force Hospital. In 2004, he left for the United Kingdom, where he worked in residency positions until 2006. He then returned to Greece and worked at the Pammakaristos Hospital until 2008, when he completed his residency in ophthalmology.
In 2008, he opened his private ophthalmology practice in Galatsi, where he continues to work to this day.
He regularly attends ophthalmology conferences, particularly in his areas of interest, which are cataract surgery and refractive surgery.
